Ustad Hamahang

Ustad Hamahang (Persian:استاد هم آهنگ) was a popular Afghan singer of Kharabat, Kabul - Afghanistan. He is the Son-In-Law of the famous Ghulam Dastagir Shaida, also known as Ustad Ghulam Dastagir Qarâbaghi, who was from Qarabagh, at Kabul. He mostly sings Persian folk tales of Central Asia, improvises on the scenes and creates couplets as he sees the audience actions, at times very funny. Hamahang, has been a very popular wedding singer in the 60s and 70s.
